Your Chakra System and Self Love

Your chakra system is an important part of your self awareness and self healing. Any time your chakra system is out of balance for an extended period of time it can lead to disease. I am very inspired by the book "Intuitive Self-Healing" by Marie Manuchehri, RN.

I have already been able to help myself and others from wisdom's found in this book. I have recommended it to friends and family.

Particularly, my sister called the other day. She expressed that she wasn't feeling well. She had just had an altercation with someone close to her and was feeling bad about it.

I asked her where she hurt, she stated "in her mid-back". I then referred to Marie's book. I determined it was in her 3rd Chakra (also called the solar plexus). According to Marie’s book this area governs the gall bladder, spleen, stomach, liver, pancreas, and small intestines. Emotionally the 3rd Chakra pertains to self-love.

Day 17 of 21 Day Meditation Challenge - Chakra Energy Centers and Healing

We all find the colors of a rainbow
so amazing. The colors in a rainbow
correspond greatly with the colors
of our Chakra centers.
Day 11 for me, but day 17 of the actual 21 Day Meditation Challenge.

My favorite so far! I have been reading a book by Marie Manuchehri “Intuitive Self-Healing” and this meditation corresponds to all of her wisdom's. It is also the wisdom's of “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success” by Deepak Chopra, which is the book that first inspired me to see life from a different perspective.

Essentially our body is made up of 7 Chakra points. “Chakra” is an energy center located in all living things. An easier way to understand it is that we are all made up of energy. To maintain that energy we must keep our Chakra in balance. Being out of balance is caused from deeply buried emotions somewhere in our Chakra, which unless released, can cause disease in the body. This meditation focus’s on exploring the healing powers of our Chakra's. So powerful… Thank you for helping me heal.

Relieving Stress and Anxiety with Present Moment Awareness

Releasing Anxiety

I had been pondering on my next blog post, when I realized how much anxiety I have been feeling. It seems that I really need to work on releasing anxieties from my life. I asked a few people on a forum I just joined and here's what they recommended;

3 Steps to release stress and anxiety
1) Take an hour to "Just BE, BE Yourself" (I really like that one) Don't let others determine how you feel about yourself.
2) Spend that time unwinding from the days stresses
a. Stop at your favorite diner or coffee house and just breathe.
b. Read a good magazine or book (nothing too deep).
c. Stop at a park or a place with unique qualities where you find yourself at peace and admire the view.
3) Meditate! Don't let yourself think of anything, just breathe once again.

I know with all the focus on our future and money matters, it can build up, so I must ask myself "Is it really that bad or am I perceiving it that way"?

Living a life of balance through meditation

Living a life of balance can mean many things. I believe meditation to be the first step to creating balance in your life.

Meditation has been descibed by some as a powerful tool in the process of self-recognition and mental transformation. Through the use of certain chants, mantras, visualizations, and breathing techniques amongst many others, meditation creates stillness and concentrates one’s awareness in the mind. On the surface, it is a relaxation method used to nurture inner peace and quiet the external world. It can be used by anyone, even those with limited cognitive ability, and is often used to increase creativity, promote self-awareness and help people live more spiritually oriented lives. On a deeper level, many regard mediation as one of the most vital practices on the road to spiritual enlightenment and freedom.

There are many other proven benefits accumulated from the art of meditation;

  • Quiets your mind to allow for creative thinking.
  • Centers your universe
  • Reduces stress
  • Slows the aging process
  • Promotes healing
Start with 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening, and eventually work up to 30 minutes per session.
The more we focus on self improvement the better we feel and the more we get out of life. My intentions with this blog is to help others while helping myself reach a higher level of being.
